There are many times in our lives that a financial, emotional or medical crisis occurs. There is a special Help Our Own Fund that members can avail themselves that may cover a particular need. The District Council 37 Help Our Own Fund is supported by the District Council 37 membership by a contribution of a portion of your union dues.
In an emergency, you can contact the President of Local 384 directly to establish your eligibility to receive immediate financial aid. You may also contact the Help Our Own Fund directly.
You may be required to repay the initial outlay when the problem has been resolved depending on the individual circumstances of each case.
