Ordered involuntary overtime work between 35 and 40 hours shall be compensated in cash at straight time. Ordered involuntary overtime over 40 hours shall be given in cash at time and one half. Upon mutual agreement of the employee and the designee of the College President, compensatory time off in lieu of cash can be granted.
Authorized voluntary overtime in excess of the employee's normal work week shall be compensated in time off at the rate of straight time. No credit shall be given for unauthorized overtime.
Meal allowances is provided only when overtime is not paid in cash.
At no time shall there be a rescheduling of days off or hours of work to avoid the payment of overtime.
