Emergency closings are defined as the cancellation of classes and/or closing of the College Campus due to weather, transportation or other emergencies.
The decision to close is made at the individual campus by the President or his/her designee. Therefore it is possible that one campus may be open while another is closed.
You must call your Campus to verify its closing
The central administration of CUNY releases, the information which identifies the AM and FM stations which will broadcast all the closings. Your Personnel Office will have these listings for your information. In the event that it is necessary to suspend classes, or close the College, an announcement to this effect will be made on the radio stations designated.
