WORKSHOPS:
2004-2005
Contract negotiation is a long and laborious process, once the frame work is laid out, it consist of offers and counter offers, this continues until all issues are resolved and a negotiated settlement is reached.
Over the past several months your contract Negotiating Committee has worked relentlessly on your behalf. Negotiation sessions were held June 19 and July 19, 2004, now that Summer vacations are over and everyone is back to work, we expect to resume serious negotiations. Our next scheduled negotiation session is schedule for November 19, 2004
Unfortunately, it is not possible to keep you informed on every aspect of the contract negotiations due to the sensitive nature of some of the issues. But rest assure the committee has the best interest of Local 384 members at heart.
Therefore I ask that you Please Be Patient and
work with Us. We will always come away with the
best deal we can get for ours members.
Thank you

FAQ
Which
politicians have my PEOPLE dollars supported
in 2000?
Another important political program is PEOPLE: "Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality." PEOPLE contributions are used to support federal elected officials who understand the needs and concerns of working families as well as AFSCME's lobbying efforts on issues such as welfare reform, privatization and pay equity
